How to care for Human Hair Pieces
Washing & Drying
Only use products recommended by your specialist. These products can be purchased at the salon. *View video below to see how to wash your human hair piece.
- Brush your piece starting from the bottom and work towards the roots
- Fill a basin or sink with warm water
- Place a nickel size amount of shampoo and mix into water
- Submerge hair and dip in and out, avoiding twisting and swirling
- Squeeze out water, refill basin and repeat without shampoo in water to rinse.
- Refill basin and repeat with conditioner. *Tip: do not put conditioner directly on the base of piece as it could loosen the knots. Leave in a small amount of conditioner through the ends to keep conditioned and detangled.
